MAGDALENA (pseudonym) graduated from the Academic of Fine Arts in Kraków, Graphics Arts Faculty in Katowice.

Her pictures are like mirror images - woman that live around its glance at themselves in the mirror. They are not only mysterious models perfectly built like Barbie Doll but are also our wives, mistresses, girlfriends with whom we live day by day. We can see their bodies: somethimes beautiful or tired at times, but they are always longing for our love and caress. Liiving close to them we do not notice their beauty, their charm or grace. Only when looking at Magdalena's pictures one can see that these goddess-like figures - we shall not be afraid of such comparison, says Magdalena, thus they are near us at hand, just close by - they speak to us very clear language, which we sometimes deliberately do not want to listen to.
Magdalena's figures do not have clear eyes, marked tips or hands in gesture of despair or ectasy. They are only bodies, which succumb us with their magnetism.
Magdalena, who paints nude bodies, is a subtle, full of emotional feelings painter. In their works she shows different worlds of which we often forget or do not know anything. Not only does she discover physical beauty or the state od ecstasy but also she shows space, colouring, breathing, thoughts, inspiration or concept, which deeply lie dormant inside our minds. While stimulated the figures come to life and live in our thought and heart.
